We offer competitively priced 50 minute presentations for up to 300 students in a gymnasium or similar common area. We’ll bring all needed supplies and will only ask you to provide access to water, an electrical outlet, a table, and students who are excited and eager to learn. If more than one show is necessary to accommodate your student body, ask us about our discounts for booking multiple shows. This year we’re featuring “Our World in Motion” which allows students to interactively explore force and motion.
Our World in Motion
Have you ever wondered why an apple will fall to the ground but the moon seems suspended in mid air? Amazingly, gravity is responsible for both! Our World in Motion will take your students on a journey into the wonderful world of physics as we discover how and why things move. Following in the footsteps of Galileo and Sir Isaac Newton, volunteers from the audience will help demonstrate gravity, Newton’s Laws of Motion, and centripetal force. We’ll then explore some of the awesome things we can do with moving air, from an exciting balloon blowing contest to defying gravity with Bernoulli’s principle. With a mini roller coaster, a balloon rocket, a live-action tug-o-war, and knowledgeable experienced presenters who know how to make learning science fun and exciting, this is a show you can’t afford to miss!
